Body Mass Index (BMI) Calculator

Is your current weight within a healthy range?

Body Mass Index (BMI) calculations are intended for average men and women. They may not apply to muscular individuals.

If your current BMI result is in the overweight or obese categories, you may want to consider talking with a Personal Trainer about developing a fitness program aimed at increasing your calorie-burning muscle mass, while decreasing your body’s fat level. Your Personal Trainer can also offer nutrition suggestions that can improve your body’s metabolism and help you achieve lasting weight loss.

Calorie Calculator

How many calories do you need each day to achieve your goal?

Whether your goal is to lose weight, gain weight or maintain your current weight, this calculator will determine the amount of calories you need to consume every day to reach your goal.

It is considered unsafe for men to consume fewer than 1,500 calories per day and for women to consume fewer than 1,200 calories per day. Adjust your goal to ensure your daily calories are above these limits.

Consult your physician before beginning a calorie restricted diet.

Exercise Calculator

Determine the number of calories burned by type of physical activity

To lose weight, you either need to eat less, or exercise more. This calculator will help you determine the number of calories burned by various types of exercise and physical activity. By including exercise in your daily routine, you can lose weight without having to drastically reduce your daily caloric intake.

Target Heart Rate Calculator

Determine your ideal level of cardiovascular training

Your target heart range is 50 to 85 percent of your maximum heart rate. If you're just beginning a cardiovascular exercise program, aim for the low range of your target zone (50%) during the first few weeks. Gradually build up to the higher end of your target heart rate zone (75%). After six months or more of regular exercise, you may be able to exercise comfortably at up to 85 percent of your maximum heart rate.
